Hapoel Holon, an Israeli basketball team, may be among the victims of a UK broker fraud. Team owner Micky Dorsman is listed among the victims of British broker Nicholas Levene, who has gone missing after reportedly owing investors around £20 million. Dorsman, who invested money through a European investment bank, claims that Levene failed to provide orderly documentation on transactions. He noted that two months after the investment, he began to suspect something was wrong. Levene, known as 'Beano', had connections with several sports figures in Israel, including owners of basketball and soccer teams. The Metropolitan Police in London have launched an investigation following Levene's failure to comply with a court order to repay an £18 million debt. This complex situation may impact Hapoel Holon, especially given Dorsman's connections with Levene.
